What We Did for Coldwell Banker

In 2016, Coldwell Banker Chesapeake Real Estate requested assistance with digital marketing. We met with the two co-owners of Coldwell Banker Chesapeake Real Estate to start the analysis process. We learned that they wanted:

  1. an analysis document outlining their current status across the digital marketing spectrum and comparing that to their competition
  2. a prioritized plan of action outlined with estimated costs/estimated results
  3. to attract luxury buyers/sellers to increase their average cost/house sold
  4. to increase website traffic
  5. social media training for their agents
  6. to increase their ranking on Google
  7. to position themselves for buyout

We formulated a plan:

  1. We created an indepth analysis document and a prioritized plan of action for them.
  2. We created a luxury branded section on their website and created an entire marketing plan based around that new brand.
  3. We ran 1-1 social media and integrated marketing training sessions for their top agents at each office location.
  4. We redesigned and reorganized their homepage and website to funnel buyers into the luxury and waterfront sections where homes have a larger price tag.
  5. We reworked all of their SEO features, marketed the site, promoted it to Facebook and Twitter, created Live Videos on Facebook, created and ran weekly Facebook ads, set up and maintained Google Adwords campaigns, wrote blogs, and setup and requested cross-linking and back-linking.
  6. We created several targeted email campaigns for promotion and retention. All emails were created with the same voice to increase brand awareness and value.
  7. We redesigned their homepage to feature their brand to increase its value.

Coldwell Banker Chesapeake's results included:

  1. a significant boost on Google rankings with several page 1 search rankings
  2. an 1100% increase in the number of luxury homes listed
  3. a 35% increase in the number of visitors to the website
  4. agents claiming they had better skills to attract and retain new customers
